RSPCA gets new scales.

After a few months of fund raising by the Whyalla Veterinary Clinic staff and volunteers, enough money was raised to purchase a new set of scales for the local RSPCA shelter. “The RSPCA has needed scales for a long time, to assist us to weigh the animals and this helps us monitor their health during their stay with us.” said Shelter Manager Andre Sliedrecht

“We appreciate the volunteers who have spent their time washing dogs and the Whyalla Veterinary Clinic who have made this possible through their fund raising.” he said “Our next project is a play area for play area for the boarders out the front of the shelter bordering onto Cook Street.”

The staff at the Whyalla Veterinary Clinic said they were happy to support the local RSPCA shelter as it was an important part of our community
