Australia is in the grips of a population crisis

Every environmental indicator points to one fact: Australia is seriously overpopulated.

Australian Conservation foundation enters Australia's population battle.

Clinic policy

We are committed to providing a high standard of veterinary care to our patients whilst minimizing our impact on the planet. Our aim is to make a difference that lasts well beyond the lifespan of the current generation of staff at the veterinary clinic. Australia has too many dogs, cats and people. There is a crisis of unwanted cats and dogs in Australia and we urge all pet owners to have their cats and dogs desexed. We work with the RSPCA to make a difference and reduce the number bring destroyed. The overpopulation of pets is a mirror of the human population crisis in Australia. For our childrens sake, we must reduce our human population through birth control and reduced immigration.

People facing hard times and lack of food, do not waste resources on companion animals. For our pets that we love and care for, we need to put a lot more time and resources into looking after our planet. It is the only one we have.

Current growth policy of the Rudd Government

Baby bonuses and the highest immigration levels ever. What can one say? Edward Abbey summed it up beautifully when he said:

"Growth for the sake of growth is the ideology of the cancer cell"

So why are we short of water? Too many people!

Why are we short of oil? Too many people!

Why are house prices so high? Too many people!

Why are we losing somany native species? Too many people!

Why are our fish stocks dropping? Too many people!

The list goes on and on. But the bottom line is, there are too many of us humans demanding too much of this arid land we call home. Australia.
