LOCATION: A vacancy exists for a full time vet to join our team of 3 vets and 16 lay staff in a highly skilled, bond centred practice. We are looking for someone with high customer skills who is very thorough and willing to work cases up to find solutions. The clinic in Whyalla has just been extensively renovated and the clinic in Roxby Downs is new (Opened December 19, 2005). The practice is fully computerized, in-house idexx pathology and all the modern equipment you would expect in a progressive multi-clinic practice. We have excellent, mature lay staff who can be relied upon and will provide an excellent resource for a new vet joining the practice . There are 2 clincis in the group and two outstation practices which add an interesting dimension to the work. The position is based in Whyalla , a city of 20,000 that offers an excellent lifestyle with excellent fishing, boating, swimming and all other amenities of a medium sized coastal city. Ideal position for a new graduate, as we are able to provide a high degree of support and have trained other graduates in the past. Principal Veterinarian is an Accademic Associate of Melbourne University. AFTER HOURS WORK: 2 evenings a week.. REMUNERATION: Salary will depend on experience and skill of the veterinarian but will be above award. We can help with accomodation and a car can be provided.
