I have worked at the Whyalla Veterinary clinic for 3 weeks and the clinic was well recommended by previous locums through the Kookaburra Locum Agency which supplies locum vets in Australia.
I was made to feel very welcome and everyone is very friendly. The work has been routine for a veterinary practice and the after hours have been quiet and I have had very few call outs and certainly nothing after 10pm.
It is a relaxed working environment and the clinic is certainly a well equipped small animal practice. The support has been there for me when ever I required a second opinion and this has extended to when I was on call, not just within working hours.
I would recommend the practice as a good one for vets to work at.
