Queen Elizabeth ll
21 April 1926 – 8 September 2022

The longest-serving Monarch in British history, Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth ll, ruled for 70 years. Her
dedication to her role as Head of State and devotion to the UK and other Commonwealth Realms was
admirable.

With Australia also a constitutional monarchy, Queen Elizabeth ll long served as its Sovereign. She
developed a deep connection with Australia and its people through her numerous visits and ongoing
involvement. Many view her recent passing as a significant loss personally and indeed to the world at
large.

She tirelessly carried out State, and national duties, along with her public and charitable service. At the
same time, her personal life saw her become, amongst many things, a devoted wife, mother, lover of
Corgis and keen horsewoman.

Generations to come will undoubtedly remember Queen Elizabeth ll with fondness and admiration. May
she rest in eternal peace.
