Whyalla continues to see cases of parvovirus in dogs throughout September 2018. All the dogs that have come down with parvovirus have been unvaccinated and we have not seen any fully vaccinated dogs come down with parvovirus.
If your dog develops vomiting and blood diarrhoea, see the vet immediately. Survival rates are much better in dogs treated early.
To prevent you dog getting Parvovirus, get it vaccinated. Puppies need two vaccinations and adults just one vaccination to get immunity to this horrible disease.
